Getting deferred from one's dream school, after 4 years of the grind, is a reality I think.

how do we know deferred and not rejected did they say something?

the only two outcomes are accepted or deferred, they are not rejecting interviewees at this time per my interview

I read the other post as addressing people that wanted to verify the Zoom link claims, which is definitely unrealistic. Doomspiraling over an anonymous forum & publicly wondering if the people posting are lying is... less than reality based, wouldn't you agree? Let's wait to see if you actually get a deferral email next week.

Personal feelings are always valid & understandable, but there's a time and place. Maybe venting to your parents or friends, or even on the general Admit forums, would make more sense than this specific thread.
