While it is not ideal, it seems like FCoM is taking steps to address LCME feedback. Even established schools like Meharry (I think?) Einstein, CNU have been on probation before.

If you look at schools like cusm, it took 8 years for it to achieve full accreditation. LCME accreditation process is quite long and extensive- I think reading about the schools policies, ECs, research, student community, and preparation for STEP are important to consider. It is valid to feel concerned, but to all applicants here it is VERY UNCOMMON for accreditation to be revoked.

This is very valid. Like ultimately it’s a new program and probably just does need a sec to implement feedback and make a good experience.

On the other hand it is kind of sketchy that that’s the stage we’re at. Maybe in 5-10 years it’ll be a rockstar program but obviously it isn’t completely ideal now.

Like I don’t think I’ll make any decision about it now, just interesting to see where this goes
