i just got an email from them too but instead it said that my application is in queue to be reviewed by their screeners so it looks like you made through whatever initial screening they have!!
when i first opened it and saw the “Our goal throughout this admissions cycle is to be as transparent as possible” i thought it was a rejection and my heart sank. nice to have some transparency though lol!

Just got an email saying "your application has been reviewed by one of our (human) admission screeners and is currently under consideration for a virtual interview. We will invite applicants for a virtual interview on a rolling basis from early August until our last interview in late February."
I am taking this as a very neutral, purely informative notification and I know this is supposed to be helpful and is incredibly kind of them to do, but with this being one of my top schools it has made me more anxious lol!
I think this is a good sign, I didn’t get this email until October last year when I submitted in July
n=1 but ive been a serious bum and havent sent in my secondary for this school. They sent me a very nice email asking me to submit the secondary when you guys got that email about screening or whatever lol

They kept me under consideration for a virtual interview until the bitter end last year. Even sent an email in February like, we have one interview date left, there is still hope hahahaha nope no interview. But people were getting rejected while I was getting those emails so idk, was prolly on a waitlist or something for an interview. I’m a reapplicant this year
