I got the call from one of my absolute dream schools while traveling internationally with my family. I'd been hoping, wishing, and imagining what it would be like to get this call, but I never thought it would happen to me. The day before, I bought a good luck "academic success" omamori for the new year. My sister and I woke up at ~7:00 am local time to my ringer going off. It was truly a dream-like scenario. One I barely had time to process but one I will remember forever. I don't know what this or anything means. All I know is this amulet will not be leaving my side anytime soon.
