someone mentioned on SND that if youve been considered for the phone interview for over 2 months theres a higher chance youre not making it out. theres anecdotes from last year of people still getting one after 3-4 months but this person had spoken to one of the adcoms about it

do you mean being considered for the phone interview, or doing the phone interview and being considered for an in person interview?

at least for me and a friend, they have add to the list to consider for phone interview. if selected then virtual interview. email sounded like a phone interview is not guaranteed even if one gets added to the list.

I had my phone interview at the end of September, but I still haven't heard back about a virtual interview. I'm getting nervous; this is my top-choice school.

Yeah I also got my phone interview around the same time and I still have not heard anything back. I would not worry about it too much though. They are still pretty early into the cycle.

How long were you considered for a phone interview before getting a virtual interview?

About a month for me, and 5 days after interview for decision.

I remember it being really quick around 2 weeks. My acceptance was about a week after that- I got a phone call!

I just got an email from WMed (who rejected me) about their MBS linkage program but I can’t find any information on what “successful completion” of the program entails or what determines “conditional acceptance” for next cycle. Anyone have any more specific information?

Still haven't heard back regarding a virtual interview. I have been getting the monthly updates and they say I am still under consideration. Is it cooked? Does anyone know how many interview days they have left?

I just checked my monthly email for when I got the invite and it said they do interviews until mid-march.

When I scheduled my interview in January, I remember seeing two days available in February. Never checked if March had availabilities.

Not sure if that helps, but I guess what I am trying to say is there’s still hope! Hopefully, your March update says they still have some invites to send out.

Last monthly update said we’d all hear whether we get an II or final decision no later than today. Anybody else still not hear anything at all? Been under review for a virtual interview since last year.

Just to add to some of the neuroticism about wait times between different stages for future applicants:

My app was "considered for phone interview" in early September. I didn't get a phone interview invite until late January (4+ months). Big surprise honestly since I kept getting those update emails and it would include the dwindling % of phone interviews left. I must have received one of the final few. I did send an update letter so perhaps they gave me a chance. I then pretty quickly received a virtual interview after my phone interview (less than 2 weeks turnaround) and was accepted earlier this month! Very excited!
