For those who received the II, did your status change to "Under review" from "Your application is ready" or did you directly receive II from "Your application is ready" status?

I got the “application complete” email and then no communication until my II.

No, I meant any status change on the portal after “application complete” and before II

alright wayne baddies, interview is chill:

- student interviewer depends but they’re very nice and mostly wanna know your fit / did the research on wayne offerings and mission, just be urself and be a person esp one outside of medicine w hobbies and stuff

- mmis are very simple and standard, things like choose which pt to save or how would you prioritize conflicting responsibilities. be direct here and leave space for follow ups

- faculty is also chill! they’ll ask more about ur activities maybe and then have some standard Qs on how you fit w wayne, qualities a physician should have, and a time when you had assumptions that were later wrong

I had no green check next to my faculty for a while, and I talked to admissions about it after my interview was over and they said it was fine. i just checked and I have the green check now, I think they have to submit their feedback on their end somehow for the checkmark to go away

I have an interview scheduled for next week Friday. For those who have already interviewed, what tips would you suggest in prepping for this school?

I found SDN's AI interview coach to be helpful. I also made a word doc with bullet points for common interview questions, like resolving conflict in a team setting, about me, why medicine, greatest weakness, etc.

Practice with yourself! I used chat GPT to ask me questions and recorded myself on zoom answering them. helped me a good deal to get the words all set and simulate the environment. Also practice mmi scenarios.

absolutely phenomenal interview experience, it could not have gone better imo. know your app, know yourself and know why you want to go to this school. good luck all!
