My understanding is that we may still hear in the later waves if they haven’t decided on us yet😵‍💫but I would also assume that earlier interview means higher chance of being in the first 12/22 wave

Can anyone describe what the interview was like/any questions they asked?

Mine is a little over three weeks from now, and I'm a bit antsy since my stats are 10th percentile.

It was really chill! Very conversational and just standard med school/job interview questions. Nothing out of the ordinary.

Also, you must be cracked to get an interview if your stats are in the 10th percentile for WashU. You got it for a reason! Now go kill it.

On your interview day, do you just join the two zoom link for your scheduled interviews during those times (2 ~30ish minute time slots), or do you have an entire day of programming like other schools? Just trying to figure out if I need to take the entire day off of work.

Just two zoom links from their portal

if I interviewed in October, would a decision likely be released in Dec? or more likely the next wave

At the end of the interview day, the admission team said they have 4 decision dates: 12/22, 1/19, 2/16, and 3/9.

On your interview day, do you just log into the two Zoom links for your scheduled interviews at the designated times (about 30 minutes each), or is it more like other schools with a full day of programming? I’m trying to figure out if I need to block off the whole day from work or if I can just take a couple of hours.

If you look at last year’s data, it looks like they don’t give out too many decisions at all until the Jan date? So I wouldn’t panic yet lmao but I’m in the same boat so I get it

Are they going off secondary submission date? I submitted mid-August but I got my II early September and interviewed first week of October. Am I cooked for this round?

Thank you! I got an email. My phone number is inactive at the moment, so I don't know if they attempted to call or not.
