Check out: https://medschool.vanderbilt.edu/md/admissions/

It looks like 2/3rds of applicants have gotten a secondary.

Still waiting on a secondary invite, anyone know if they send an email if you do not pass the prescreen?

Ye for sure:

1. Please reflect on the upbringing, background, and experiences in your life that have shaped who you are as a person and will help define the person you want to be in the future. In other words, what makes you who you are? (800 words)

2. Tell us about a time when you interacted with an individual who is different than you. What did you learn? Would you do anything differently and if so, what? (600 words)

3. It is important to understand that everyone needs help at various times in their lives. Reflecting on the last five years, describe a time you asked for help and what you gained from that experience that has influenced your approach to asking for help. (600 words)

4. Describe a sustained leadership experience that shaped you. This might include identifying a gap and addressing it, holding a formal role, leading a team effort, or driving a project forward over time. Indicate how long you were involved and the scope of your contribution. What did you learn about your own leadership capabilities, and how will these insights inform your role as a physician-scientist?  (300 words)

5. What clinical specialty or specialties interest you most, and why? (100 words)

6. Describe the general nature of research you intend to pursue long-term: basic, translational, clinical, or a combination? (100 words)

7. Outline your ideal balance between research, clinical responsibilities, and other professional activities in your first position after training (training includes residency and/or fellowship, if applicable to your career path). How does this allocation reflect your long-term vision and leverage both your MD and PhD training? (100 words)

8. Please briefly summarize your activities since graduating from college. If you are still enrolled in undergraduate studies, please comment on any new projects, roles or initiatives undertaken since submitting your AMCAS application. (200 words)
