Is it slower this year? Especially for IS, they are barely sending out interviews.

they said on interviews that it takes 10-12 weeks to even hear back with results... so i would imagine it's taking them a while to review applications for every stage

Yea after the interview, they were going through ALL the steps that decisions take, it def is a lot, and it seems they want a good portion of the interview base interviewed before making a decision.

right, especially with them saying the majority will be waitlisted, i think they really want to see the whole pool before sending offers

My understanding was not that they said the majority would be waitlisted. They said they might hold off on sending you a decision until later in the cycle if you're in between their criteria for acceptance vs waitlist. I think once you're on the waitlist, that's it until April
