Anyone done the video component of this secondary?

When I use their in-application recording, in playback the video feed stops about 15 seconds into the video. Audio works great, but the video footage just freezes up.

I can't compress the version I recorded of myself enough for it to be able to be submitted.

Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this.

Anyone know what the group interview entails? Having it be in-person makes it rough for OOS or North Texas folks... Ugh. Is it more of a humanity check? Or seriously valued for the admissions process?

had a 9/18 in person interview scheduled for which i traveled 9 hours by car for and stayed in a hotel the night before get canceled due to a power outage the day of the interview at 9a when the interview was set to start at 12p… absolute shitshow at this school idek what to say

me too bro I flew. will be ranking them last on TMDSAS for this reason. beyond frustrating

idek how i’m gonna get to the point of ranking them without finishing this interview i hope they offer some accommodation that actually makes sense lmao

i will say, the students i talked to at the school (yes i still went bc i did not drive all that way to waste my time) loved the school and were extremely chill and loved the environment and just overall i felt very comfortable talking to them and they had good vibes. additionally the city of edinburg was extremely extremely extremely pretty and i loved it!!! im not a negative nancy but just a bit unfortunate that the power outage ruined what could’ve been a great positive interview experience for me along with a lack of communication from the school

yeah I wish the communication had been better, especially considering the distances travelled 🥲 but maybe it will all get sorted out hopefully
