based on the wording on their website, it seems that they at least do interview dates by graduate group. im assuming that also means that maybe the phd group is also reviewing your app, and maybe invites are sent in a somewhat grouped way? not sure tho

Just be yourself! The Penn interviewers I had were very friendly and just genuinely wanted to get to know me.
