Anybody else getting frustrated that nothing has happened yet? I see some rejections and know that the EDP applicants got their results, but the waiting is killing me lol.

Just got an email from them about their secondary process being delayed due to a large number of applicants and staffing shortages. I'm sure we will hear back soon!

I submitted my Secondary 9/10 and got that email 9/17, maybe they really are behind and being kind enough to communicate. As long as I get an interview its cool 😭

does anyone have an idea of when UNM might be sending out acceptances?

When I asked after my interview they told me I would hear by March 15th or earlier depending on how I ranked but they said most people would hear 3/15.

I heard that adcom met yesterday and they may be releasing some decisions today. Does anyone know what time they typically send out decisions?

Do you know if UNM releases in waves? On SDN it looks like a lot of decisions went out in February past years

UNM has rolling admissions, so they do accept and reject applicants who score very high or very low, respectively, on a continuous basis. They told us in the student panel that most will probably hear back in February, but if they really like you, you might hear back this month.

For those of us who are still waiting to hear back from UNM for final decisions, I combed through the SDN threads for previous years and I believe they will be posting final decisions by Feb 13 this year. Tomorrow will officially be a month from then, so mark your calendars and, God willing, we will all make it.

Does attending the student panel lowkey matter in admissions? Wondering if I need to request time off from work to attend the last session. My plan had been to reach out to current students I know

I would definitely attend the student panel. I have heard from admissions officers in the past (at other schools) that they do take note of how students interact with others during these types of events.
