I also don’t think they did 25 As today like people said maybe next month when they have a better idea. Also historically why don’t they have a cutoff bar where you get accepted if you get over that amount bc surly they use that data on their rank list

They really keep their acceptances per month number around 15 from everything I've read idk where the 25 came from

But isn’t it crazy they say that their process is “holistic” and everything but then accept only the higher stat applicants??? It kind of rubs me the wrong way bc I’m a IS mid stat applicant with extensive experience in medicine and healthcare and MU is my top choice but I’m not theirs. Even tho I’m committed to them! Crazy wild

It's because they score sections of your application; people with higher MCAT scores are going to get a higher score on that section and are therefore more likely to be accepted earlier.

Also with 168 spots for the incoming class in state acceptances are higher this year so idk why the first round has so few when they increased class size

I bet they'll keep the process the same, with more people being accepted in March

Still though it’s like why bc you have more people that could have a stress relief earlier it’s just weird to not when they easily could without affecting anything on their end

They could theoretically tell 1-3 more people a month and maintain percentages, and they might do that, but there would be no way for us to know

I mean compared to last years stats they let in fewer people this month or the same

Not everyone is on Admit, and not everyone updates their IIs and As right away. I went a week without logging in to preserve my sanity.
