Any early interviewers ready for Oct 15??????? Freaking out but excited no matter the results

What do you mean by website tracker? Does UMich have live data on how many acceptances are given out?

last year they announced it exactly one week after the 15th, (22nd). So, it might actually be on Wednesday. Hoping that, for our mental health's sake, we receive news from them before Friday! good luck everyone!

someone on sdn was just accepted through a student they knew at umich! so i think they will do the general wave of admissions tomorrow!

That was me! it might not be tmrw depending on how long they give current students to organize "surprises" but it is definitely coming in the next few days! Best of luck everyone!

As far as I know they send all September interview decisions at the same time in October, all oct interviews at the same time in November, etc.

Anyone have any stats or insights as to what a deferral actually means at UMich? Especially for early interviewers (Sept. 11).

No. From their website:

"Circumstances that do not demonstrate permanent Michigan residence

The circumstances and activities listed below are most often temporary or indeterminate and do not demonstrate permanent residence in Michigan. Individuals whose claim to Michigan residence is based solely on one or more of the following will generally not be found to be Michigan residents for tuition purposes:

- you are in a medical residency program, fellowship, or internship in Michigan

- your spouse or partner’s employment in Michigan is permanent but you are in the State for temporary reasons

- your employment position in Michigan is normally held by a student"

To demonstrate residency, your primary purpose in the state must be something other than that such as your parents living here, or having full time employment.
