any MSTP kira or post-kira IIs? when did u submit

any thoughts on why there seem to be way less applications submitted to UMass (and a lot of other schools) this year compared to last year (atleast based on what's being self-reported on here)? (I think this year its like 500ish while last year it was almost 700 apps submitted). Also, seems like UMass has sent way less interviews out so far this year compared to last year

does anyone know if you get time to think and brainstorm once you get the MMI prompt for the post Kira interview?

ga applicant and got kira but have lived in boston for about 14 months and will continue through matriculation (hopefully lmao)

heard they are being more selective about handing out IIs/reviewing apps this year. no clue why less applicants

I wonder if less people ended up submitting because they changed the secondaries this year tbh
