I don't understand how UConn is doing their admissions, I submitted on 7/12 and am IS and haven't gotten an interview. I'm a high stat applicant as well

Dude I know right. I don’t want to dox myself since there’s only 500 IS apps a year for this school but UConn needs to be investigated by the state. They should be ashamed

I completely agree. I feel like especially in a state like CT they should be picking their own first...

The taxes in this state are like top 5 in the entire U.S. This is the only public medical school in CT (and Quinnipiac/Yale literally hate CT residents). They get enough IS applicants to fill the entire med school with CT residents and fulfill their state mandate to improve the health outcomes of CT.

Is there a genuinely convincing reason anyone OOS is going to stay in CT and practice here? Like pragmatically? No.

But you know what, let's make the class 32% OOS! (dont get me started on how their BS/MD slots affect how many IS seats there actually are)

It looks like UCONN released As on the 15th last year but other years they release it later. Anyone have any insight on if they are releasing As on the 15th this year or just any other information they have heard?
