High folks, will be applying in the upcoming cycle. I grew up in California and will be using my address there as my permanent residence, but I do live and work in Connecticut now. Is there space on the UConn application to indicate my ties to the state?

For those wondering, from the second look email, it seems like about 170 acceptances so far.

Don't they typically offer A's to around 210-220?

No idea but thats also the people that accepted their acceptance so maybe they offered more or still have some left to go?

It seems like someone tracked an A on 4/18 on Cycle Track -- unsure if it's from the waitlist though. I wish there was more transparency about their process, I truly feel like I'm going crazy waiting.

I am hoping they release first WL decisions on 5/1 cause the wait is agonizing lol

A few people (I want to say 5-6?) have left since admitted student day! Right now I believe there are 113 accepted applicants in the GroupMe. But I’m sure not everyone on it has decided on committing ! Good luck!

What do we think this means for waitlist movement, I think they typically have 110-115 students in each class.

Also its possible not everyone in the GroupMe are admitted students but rising M2-4s

The count is not including current M1s !

Can I ask how accepted students are made aware of this groupme? I’m trying to gauge if this is something that most accepted students are on or if some would be unaware of it.
