How did you feel like you did? With the decisions that have come out being only acceptances and waitlists, I'm starting to think we're just waiting on a rejection :(

I have abt 1750 research hours, 1 first author pub, 9 presented posters and 3 international conferences. 150 shadowing hours, some international experience. 500 non-clinical volunteering, 150 clinical volunteering, 200 tutoring hours, and 250 leadership hours in volunteer positions, in addition to a volunteer capstone project. 2000 clinical hours, about distributed over MA/EMT/Scribe positions. That's abt where I am, but I would def prioritize quality over quantity. My non-clinical volunteering was as an overnight domestic violence hotline advocate and that was very intense, but provided such meaningful experiences. Much more interesting than my 100 hours of pt transport lol. Anyway, feel free to reach out if you have any questions or what not
Did you take a gap year or applied straight through? Super impressive, congrats!

Thanks! I graduated in July of this year, so am currently in a gap year. Continued my research and mostly just racking up clinical hours and money (main reason for the gap year tbh).

They have sent roughly 40% of the total interviews.
Are we hoping another round of iis for this week?

good joke
From my experience, you gotta not expect an interview to get one. There I was sitting through the final mission of resident evil 4 whooping ass as leon kennedy when I see a email notification. I opened it up to see CUSOM wanting me, needing me actually. It was unexpected cuz I lowkey thought my secondary was mid. I guess my nonchalantness of not expecting to hear back from here really drew them in.

I was wondering if anyone could share more about the campus culture and medical training at CU. Any advice, pros, cons??
