Seems like phone call yes. Based on past years SDN it wasn’t specifically Oct 25 but just Fridays around this week in general, so probably tomorrow or next Friday. Either way good luck everyone! Dream school for myself and I’m sure many others.

Damn it seems like Oct 31 is the day. Gonna be a scary Halloween

Do you guys think early interviewers will hear back next Friday? I late Sept. but had an early invite so I’m wondering if I should get my hopes up 😭

How far along do we think they are in the cycle? Was complete mid July and have heard nothing back yet. Is it a silent ghost till end of cycle now ?

I think Chicago, unlike other schools, will actually reject people promptly. You probably are on a tentative pile, where they are unsure of rejecting you or interviewing yet. Doesn't mean anything until you get the notification in your email, but from what I've seen, there's no way Chicago doesn't straight up reject people it doesn't like.

1) I got the call 2pm central time followed by an email shortly after (it was a Chicago number)

Based on past cycle trends, maybe? Nobody knows for sure except the adcom. Fingers crossed for everyone tmr!!!
