Good luck with the upcoming UCSFridays, everyone!! Current M1 here—if you get that A, come here. The opportunities, community, and scale of this institution is bonkers. can’t recommend enough!!
Why did they not release any today? They released last Friday and then stopped for this week

I don't know why, they used to do 2-3 consecutive Fridays and take a break. but they send like 80 interviews per information session (they had 6 of them total). They have 2 interview days a week-- 16 students each day. Once they finish that they go on to send their new Fridays ii batches again. My guess is that they sent all 80 all at once last week.

What do you mean they send 80 interviews per information session?

For those who get interviews, they hold required info session and usually have ~ 80 headcount.

so would that mean we expect 6 waves? one per info session?

My bad. last year they had 7 info sessions, and the year before they had 6 (Apparently, that final interview batch didn’t get an info session) I’d expect around 8 waves, since batches don’t always have 80 people. Last year’s first wave oct 3 only had about 35 students.
They roughly send two-thirds of IIs to go out before New Year’s. In previous years, getting an II after New Year’s was like a long shot for Acceptance, but last year that group did fine. So I think timing of invite doesn't necessarily matter anymore.

Is the interview invite timeline or process different for PRIME and JMP applicants?

They attended the same info session with us, but different interview panel and JMPs heard their decisions 3 weeks later than us.

Do you know if they send the acceptances as they go along, after each batch of interviews? Which means no A after your interview session most likely means a rejection?
