Great! thanks for that info!

Could you let me know where you found the released flyer?

Are they calling or just emailing acceptances?

Best of luck to you!

Thank you!

I have a feeling it will be tomorrow, Monday.

Looking at past cycles, they always release on a Monday or Tuesday.

I get it, me too! But I did interview late (11/4), and since it's rolling admission, I may not be part of the first decision. Hopefully your phone will ring soon! :)

I read or heard that in the last cycle, they took 26 Haider students because there were so many qualified applicants to fulfill the UCR mission of training physicians for the Inland Empire. It may actually be easier to apply through the Heider program because it ranges from 150 to 250 applicants per year. Much better odds than the regular MD program, that have to go against 6000+ applicants.

You may be right. They have been doing interview invites close to last year's cycle, so they may be following that trend. This means we may have to wait another 3 weeks :(

Did I automatically apply to the Haider program? I'm a UCR transfer → alumni but never saw anything in my emails or interview material about it.

Does anybody know of any way I could make sure? I was only at UCR for 1.5 years over 6 quarters, one of which being summer.

It asked you specifically if you wanted to apply through the Heider program when adding the school through the AMCAS application. So if you did not mark "yes," then you are in the regular MD program. Have you interviewed already? And if so, on what date?

From what I'm seeing, there were two, and both were rejections. But how would you know if they were Haider applicants besides the fact that we were told Haider results would be released on the 15th of December?

Ouch! midnight! I wonder if this means they are done sending acceptances. I see a lot of waitlisting has happened, so maybe a big wave of rejections for regular MDs is coming soon. I interviewed for a regular MD but never heard back.
