Are there any successful applicants to the Global UCLA Global Health Pathway programs willing to review my secondary?

Anyone else receive an email indicating that PREview scores have not been received? I thought they attached to AMCAS primary automatically.

Did your portal say your application was complete before this? Like did the status chart thing have a green checkmark next to Application Complete field?

I got the same email, sent my score immediately, and they just got back to me and said thanks for the timely response… so maybe it wasn’t a glitch 😭 my app was marked complete on my portal 7/29 though

Yeah its either a mistake on their end or AAMC imo. But hey, I figure at least we for sure aren't in the rejection pile yet haha

Have an interview coming up here and wondering if anyone who has interviewed has any advice? Would be much appreciated!

I saw some UCLA acceptances came out for October interviewees. If we interviewed before then, but have not heard back is that a bad sign?

Looks like plenty of people who interviewed in October got accepted later last year so I think there is no need to worry at all!

I interviewed a few months back and the overall vibe was super chill! My first interviewer asked me specific questions about my activities and my second interviewer just asked me really basic questions.

How long does it normally take after interviewing to hear back??

Anyone on this thread who interviewed - what was your interview date, and have you heard back? Trying to figure out if people have heard back, and feel like just having dates + if you have heard back can add a bit of clarity.

Anyone particularly late November? I was 11/14 I believe and havent heard back - anyone in the mid or later novemeber dates heard back?

I interviewed 8/28 (first interview date) and had silence while multiple people who interviewed after me (september and october) were accepted. Sent an update letter 12/10 and was accepted on 12/11. Not sure if the letter put me over the edge due to the quick turnaround, but I would say try not to stress if people who interviewed after you are getting accepted.

Yo is it true UCLA finished sending out IIs

Last year they had two II waves in December, this year there has so far only been one. But Christmas is next week so adcoms will be on break soon :/. But hey maybe they send a few in January if anyone cancelled their interviews or if they have more spots.

are we allowed to send update letters? I thought the policy was to upload along with submitting the secondary and not after the interview?

oop did not know that. they may have said it and i just forgot lols. but i did submit one and got an A so it may not necessarily break your app

yeah I thought they said that too, so am slightly confused

i interviewed on nov 7 and was accepted last week!! they asked us at the end not to send (but tbh maybe if you have significant updates then you should be okay?). just don't want to lead anyone the wrong way!

According to MSAR they also don't seem to like it though

for those who interviewed and got accepted, what do you think it was about your interview that you feel was unique?

this felt like my absolute worst interview of the cycle tbh. interviewers seemed to be running through a list of questions and limited with time (totally valid) and did not really engage with my answers. thought i was cooked and got the a. genuinely could not tell you how

thank u! yes they seemed to be taking notes. and my stats are higher than their average but nothing too crazy. best advice is try not to overthink it. what's done is done and can't be changed. hope an a is coming ur way soon :)
