Did anyone here get an "primary application has been received" from UC Davis? I got it for other UC's but not this one. This is the one I am waiting on for a secondary

I am IS! I went to undergrad in the Bay Area and have done alot of mission focused work in Northern Cali.

for anyone else who had this problem, there should be another link slightly above the one that says pay here that actually does work. then you have to wait 24-48 hours and they will manually check off that you paid and can submit

Literally every where I am reading (reddit, SDN, here) is in-state + norcal applicants, not getting any secondary lol. trying hard to not freak out but everyday feels worse

If it helps, I remember last year (I'm a reapplicant) that people were getting secondaries well into the fall months

I didn’t get a secondary until December and got an II in like March lol. Got rejected after the interview but we go again. I’m IS SoCal

Its pretty random I got my II in March and accepted in April last cycle and also from Socal

I quite frankly realized I suck at interviewing so I know that’s my problem lmao 💔

ah i'm most likely cooked, I was also verified the 21st and am from socal. i have lower stats but thought i'd at least get a secondary nod

UC Davis screen based on ties and mission fit(n=1 but friend with MCAT > 515 and GPA > 3.8 not getting secondary invites), do you have any norcal ties?

not anything that would've shown up on my primary app. i knew it was a pretty uphill battle and they heavily favored norcal students but didn't know it was quite that strict. thank you for the info!

I was verified 7/28. I have mission ties and am from NorCal. I applied with really low MCAT last year and got their secondary within days too but not this year! :( Seems like they send secondaries till Jan so fingers crossed

Im the opposite...low MCAT didn't get one last year but got one this year. Proof that is rlly is random sometimes

it sucks when you have such a fixation on a school before the cycle. I volunteered at their hospital an am from the central valley. i lived in sacramento too. i didnt receive a secondary from them. I havent been rejected yet but i feel like at this point what are the chances i get a secondary, interview and an acceptance. just a sucky feeling lol
