Is anyone else having trouble submitting their application? I have everything filled out but the submit button at the end is still grayed out.

Yes same, it seems that if u dont select one if the programs that they are asking if u were involved in then it wont let u submit. I was not involved in any of those programs so not sure what to do lol

nm8011:

can someone post the prompts

everything 1000 characters

1. [IMPACT] What about yourself are you most proud of? How will this shape the way you care for others and contribute to the well-being of the communities you serve?

2. [SERVICE] Servant Leadership is a core value and attribute we deem essential for our students to possess. Share an example where you took initiative to support others while putting their needs ahead of your own. What personal values guided your actions, and how will those values shape the way you care for patients?

3. [ARIZONA] One of the core missions of the UA College of Medicine – Phoenix is to train physicians who will serve the people and communities of Arizona. Please share your connection to the state or, if you do not have one, what draws you to care for patients here. How do you envision contributing to the health and well-being of Arizona’s communities as a future physician?

4. [RESILIENCE] If you previously applied to any medical school (submitted a primary or secondary application), please reflect on your prior application and indicate in what ways you have grown personally, academically, and professionally. How do these changes make you a stronger applicant this cycle?

Update as of right now: they still haven't fixed the submission ☠️

Might it be worth it to just submit with one of them selected atp if it doesn't affect admissions?

Someone on SDN claiming to be somewhat affiliated with the school recommended that you do NOT do that. While it doesn’t have an affect on admissions, if you are interviewed and it comes out that you didn’t actually have that connection, it might be a bad look. Just wait for them to fix it.

You can now select "N/A" on the connections question! So you can now submit without issues.

Confirmation took a couple of hours. They sent a confirmation that the application is complete and a second one saying that the minimum academic requirements were met.

From their website, "Applicants must have a cumulative science and overall GPA of 3.60 or higher in either their undergraduate, post-baccalaureate, or graduate studies." MCAT is 506

They don't require a letter from science professor? So basically I can send all letters from employer/physician/community service manager?

The Admissions Committee requires a minimum of three letters (and recommends no more than five) from individuals with whom you have an established professional relationship and can clearly affirm the traits and characteristics desired in a physician. At least one letter from a recent clinical experience is highly recommended. Additional letters from individuals in a variety of settings are desirable: employer, research lab supervisor, community service project leader, etc. Letters from family members or personal friends are not recommended.
