For those of you who received interview invites, did you receive it through email or were you informed through the portal?

Not sure for in state, but overall average last 4 years is 45.1% (average of 242 acceptances each year). Post interview matriculation rate for in state according to MSAR is 44.6%, so acceptance rate would be even higher.

My thoughts are if they interview the number of IS they report on MSAR for that number of matriculants they report on MSAR they'd have to accept greater than that. with 242 avg acceptances theyd prolly accept a decent amount of IS students for that yield, making the post interview rate way higher than 45.1. AKA I think post interview acceptances rate is very high for instate??

Agreed! It’d be much higher than 45, so there’s a pretty good chance! Idk the actual number.

for me it says 0 admits for 175 instate interviewees. Where are you getting 53% from if you dont mind me asking? also is that an official number or just one admit has from their own data?

I mean it depends. if you're OOS, you're not likely to hear back immediately because it is more competitive. They also said the majority of people will get AC, and I haven't seen any 1/12 interviewees get AC. You never know.

So is AC is Waitlist? How many usually they accept from WL?

AC is like a hold but if you are on it when may comes then it becomes waitlist. I would say they accept a large amount from their waitlist given that a lot of people who are accepted turn it down for other schools. Their median MCAT is a 517 so you'd imagine a lot of people go elsewhere with those stats, causing UACOMP to use their waitlist

Does anyone know if UA Phoenix will still be sending out more interview invites? I haven't heard anything from them since I submitted my secondary in October, and I don't know if I should still have hope or just consider their silence as a soft R.

I interviewed 1/26 and they said we were the last in person group. In my II email they told us to email them if we preferred the virtual option. So, I imagine their upcoming AVDs are going to be people who already had interview invites. I don't think that means they wont sent out a few more II in the coming weeks. Good luck!

Has anyone who interviewed on 1/26 gotten any news back? It’s coming close to the AAMC traffic date and I’m wondering if all the seats have been filled. thanks.

They've likely given out offers for the seat amount, but usually they have large waitlist movement so i wouldnt be surprised if more offers went out.
