Has anyone gotten secondaries from them yet? Saw someone on r/premed saying they already got an interview?

They aren't doing a written secondary, the "interview" is just a video recording in place of the old secondary. They must be sending them out slow, because I'm IS and haven't gotten one yet.

I hope this is true...I am instate and think tuscon is where i have highest ods.

Should I apply to UoA Tuscon if I have not done physiology yet? I could take it before matriculation but not sure they screen that out.

it is my understanding that you can be accepted with outstanding pre-reqs. You must finish them before you matriculate though

It will be recorded. That's what they said in an admissions seminar last month.

No update as an IS applicant. I think it's going to be very interesting how they go through secondaries because it will take more time to review recorded responses and they will have less time to do it.

There were no secondaries on portal only an invite for the first round video interviews. In state applicant. Not sure what is going on with their process this year.

Tucson is now doing recorded video secondaries, two prompts. Not sure if it is different for OOS.

How do you get into the U of A Tucson portal without a secondary invite? Did they send you an email to log in for the first round of interviews?

I am out of state and just received mine. They send an email inviting you to the secondary, giving you access to the portal, which has questions only on basic info and prerequisites. Then, once you pay and submit, you receive a second email inviting you to complete the first round of interviews, which is the recorded questions. This is a new section within the same portal.

IS, primary submitted on the very first day. Just received my secondary if anyone is still waiting for theirs, I'm sure you will get it soon. They just seem very slow this cycle.

Is the deadline to complete the video interviews the same as the deadline for the secondary that came before it? Tryna decide if I should submit the secondary now or give it a couple days if that would give me a new 2 week deadline for the videos if that makes sense

It says that the deadline is 14 calander days from receiving the invite to interview

Agreed, wonder if it's connected to them switching to the video secondaries. I'm pretty sure they do screen a little bit beyond stats as well.

Not sure about OOS, but they have to send one to all IS students if they meet the minimum reqs

Treat it like an official interview, professional/formal attire doesn't hurt

Is anyone having trouble submitting their videos? I cant even see the files after I recorded

for the prerequisites section on the portal are anybody's AP courses not showing up? i know it says to type them in the future registration box if we are unable to drag them, but it is also saying the section is incomplete when i hit save, so i can't submit the secondary overall either.

Actually same, I just emailed them, I saw a file for one of my questions but not the other, did you guys use safari because mine was being janky? But you were able to download the video so I would just click that and email them saying like hey it says this page is incomplete but here is the first attempt I did. Tech difficulties with a new system🥀

Primary was verified 7/17 and IS. I have not gotten the secondary yet. Anyone else in this boat?

My primary was verified in late June, and I received my secondary last Thursday. Just be patient!
