My interviewer told me right away that he had read those. I think most interviewers decide to read them, although I've seen people say their interviewer didn't look at their application at all beforehand. I didn't get a single "interview-y" question and we mostly just yapped about the stuff in my secondary/PS.
Great to know they are transparent about this!! Was your 1on1 student interview closer to traditional interview style?

It was really short so there were only a couple of questions and then my interviewer asked what questions I had, so a bit closer to a traditional interview but still very relaxed!
Received under review email today after receiving app complete email on 07/25.
