just got a "secondary application under review" email (i submitted it 7/23 w/ LORS + CASPER already completed). does this mean anything?

theyre actively reviewing your application and deciding whether to give you an II or not

once you receive that email, you are notified of a decision within around 6-8 weeks by the way

is that info directly from tulane? i got that email 7/16 (just over eight weeks ago) and haven't heard anything yet. wondering if i'll maybe hear (hopefully good news) soon!

I couldn’t find anything about the 6-8 weeks thing but Tulane says on their website:

Rejection Notice

“We strive to email rejection notices within 3-5 weeks of an application being complete.”

Even still tho. I submitted mine really early so that's why they went immediately but it takes them a while to manually go through and verify that all the pieces and parts are there for your application and it takes longer when you submitted stuff later. Think about how the verification process for your primary takes longer when you submit later than it does when you submit early (I submitted my primary on 5/28 and was verified 10 days later)
