Does Tulane accept a lot of students off the "Acceptance Range" list while we're still in the cycle or is it treated more as a waitlist where most As go out once all non-waitlist As have already been sent out?

8/05 interview invite still awaiting decision… am I being rejected 😭

i've been under "hold for possible interview" since 8/12 - so in the same boat. They say they have till the end of the interview szn to let us know (so like March). all we can do is hope lol

yeah i interviewed 9/11 and it seems 9/10 II was the cutoff for the first round

WL 9/11 interview. Bummer. Were we supposed to submit interest letters? Not sure what went wrong, connected w both interviewers.

Does anyone know if there’s generally any movement on the “hold for possible interview” list or if this is a soft R? I’m definitely going to be working on an update letter as I’ve done a lot since I submitted my secondary (full application received 8/3 as they were waiting for my Casper score) but I want to check.

Yes on 8/3; today I got an email with this info and am looking for more regarding movement on their hold list.

Hi guys, I fortunately got into Tulane recently. I have a quick question: They ask you to accept/decline/withdraw offer. Is this a binding decision? or is this them asking you to accept their acceptance? a little confused, sorry if this seems sort of silly. I'm still thinking over things.

Accepting their offer is not a binding decision. It's just holding a seat. Once you make the deposit, I think that is your final commitment.

Hi everyone.

Any updates on the cycle? I haven't received an under review email after being marked complete in the portal and over email. I know I submitted my secondary quite late in Sept.

I know no news is good news but I'm getting anxious as I'm trying to start planning for the new year (i.e. relocating to whichever school admits me). Probably my fault that I waited so long to submit.

They're scheduling interviews in February rn and their interview cycle runs until early March.

I thought it says if you have a a green checkmark you are under review.

That’s an outdated email. They send a second email once you are under review.

Wait what does that email look like?

It says “We would like to inform you that your application is complete and under review. You will receive another email once a decision is made on your application. We thank you for your continued patience with the application process and we wish you success.”

anyone know what scholarship opportunity are in store for tulane?

They have a rural medicine full-tuition scholarship program and then the rest are merit based from like a few thousand up to full tuition.

They don't really have them listed anywhere. All accepted students are automatically considered for all merit scholarships though, so there isn't anything to apply for. I think they start awarding them later in the spring.
