so i applied maine track, but am super dumb and have since learned/remembered that my grandfather was born in maine and i have extensive extended family throughout the state (that i havent met) but did not mention any of this in my ties to the state essay. is this worth writing an update or emailing about lmao

IMO you should definitely add it if you have a substantial hours/pub update but just that alone maybe not? idk curious to hear others thoughts

imo not worth mentioning on its own. bundle it w/ something else. also if you do mention it def DO NOT say youve never met them. maybe you could spin it in a way of wanting to reconnect with your roots.
