Just called Tufts to ask when we are going to hear back from them about decisions (they originally said Oct 15th), they said today at the earliest or likely sometime next week. (if someone could post this on sdn I'm sure people would appreciate that, I don't have an account and it takes a sec to get verified)

I have an interview on wednesday but can't find any info on reddit. Has anyone found anything? Or has anyone had an interview that can shed some light on what to expect?

They ask a lot of “tell me a time when..”. And then have your basic why tufts and why medicine down.

Any Maine track people a part of the tufts acceptances? I got deferred for Maine track so just curious.

I don't remember the full details but they give you a breakdown in the portal! it said it lasts from 10 am EST to 5 pm EST

Yeah for sure, honestly it was a great experience, after reading the bios of my interviewers I was pretty intimidated, but they were so chill and very kind. Since it's open file they mostly just asked my questions about things they had read in my primary and secondary app, so I would have some good stories to talk about. I think they only asked me one "tell me a time when. . . " question. But overall, the interviews were very conversational and they were very kind and easy to talk to.

i got an email regarding my upcoming interview and it said it had the zoom link but i don't see anything linked, does anyone know how it's usually sent out and if I need to contact them :P

Hey guys, was wondering how long the interviews are?

Just wanted to shoutout tufts for a really fun interview day. Felt like both interviewers were asking such thoughtful questions, and I found the vibe of the students and faculty broadly to be amazing. All of the clinical opportunities the school has to offer seem excellent. I just wanted to put these thoughts into the world somewhere

Submitted way back in mid July and still holding out hope for Tufts. Maine track too. AAAAAAAHHHHH.

Does Tufts accept update letters before receiving an II? I have been seeing mixed reviews on multiple sites online and am not sure which is accurate.

Yes they do, I sent them one and I got an II around 1-2 weeks after.

Any accepted students apply for the Questbridge alumni grad scholarship? Just got an email yesterday from the dean saying "We are offering at least 2 QuestBridge scholarships covering half-tuition. QuestBridge scholars with significant financial need will also be considered for all other funding available which may include multiple need-based scholarships in addition to institutional and/or federal loans." which seems much different than what was said in the QB info sessions which said "This program provides up to a full-tuition scholarship, but students should apply through the university financial aid office to receive additional financial support".

I reached out to financial aid but haven't heard back. Given the extremely high tuition at Tufts and insane cost of living in Boston, I'm not sure how much of a deal half tuition is for a very low income student. Maybe the change is related to federal funding cuts?

Anyone have any insight or info from financial aid?

yes, i sent in an update primarily about a new internship i was doing plus some updates about continued activities such as my full time clinical job + other stuff :)

Hi guys!! I applied to Tufts MSTP and just sent a significant updates letter 2 weeks ago (very specific to Tufts and I also live in Boston, but applied as an OOS applicant). Haven't heard back from them and they are in my top 3 programs. Do the MSTP interviews tend to happen later in the cycle? anyone know when the last interview date is for the MSTP?

Nope, I didn't! They didn't send me a confirmation saying they received my update, but some schools did (mostly the ones who asked for the letter to be emailed).

Nope, I just looked through MSAR for every single school on my list lol. The only one I got for you is Cornell, and I'm not entirely confident on that either

interviewed 12/1 and they said then that the committee would meet this wednesday (12/17) and we would hear back within a week of that, so i'm thinking either thurs-fri or mon-tues?

According to cycletrack last year they sent out their last interview invite in mid October and MSTP acceptances in mid December

Hello I was fortunate enough to recieve an II from tufts recently. For people who interviewed do you have any advice/tips or how the vibes were with the interviewers?

very low-key, i got the feeling that my interviewers really just wanted to get to know me. they had a couple standard interview questions but overall the vibe was pretty conversatioal
