I'm sorry about the R (same here), but it's nice to see another MSTP here; they are so diluted. I have no II and am wondering how far along you think this cycle is overall?

I've always heard that the MSTP cycle largely follows the same timeline as the MD cycle! I know it's easier said than done, but try not to stress too much unless we get to the end of November and you haven't heard anything, there's still a bunch of IIs that'll be sent.

I hope so! Thanks for your encouraging words; keeping my fingers crossed. I'm sorry about your R too. Although congrats on your interviews and good luck!

I submitted in mid aug. Have they rejected from mid aug or have they not looked at my app yet (trying to see if i survived the R wave or just havent been reviewed yet) for MD?

It seems to have been for late-July/early-August with some mid-August.

Submitted late July… survived both R waves so far. Is this a good sign?

Definitely a better sign than getting an R! At least on the MSTP side, though, it didn't mean much. MSTP applicants have been getting rejected for a while, many of whom submitted well after me. I'd survived a bunch of those R waves, but finally got rejected yesterday. I'd say be happy you're still in the running, but also just kinda accept that the default outcome at a place like Stanford in particular is being rejected.

Me too. Early July submission still standing but no interview. Hope they get to us soon!
