last two cycles on here, the overwhelming majority of interview recipients ultimately received acceptances. That just has to be selection bias, right?

Probably. Remember Admit already represents among the top applicants to medical schools. On top of that people are more likely to input their acceptances than rejections.
Either way, the post-II for Jefferson is still considered high.

I don't think I got an email, it just says in the portal status section.

oh yikes the last status i have in that portal section is from july 1st and it says application complete. how long after application complete did you go under review?
