If I got 5 in AP Calculus AB and AP Calculus BC in high school, do I still need to take Calculus during undergraduate coursework as Prerequisite for HMSOM?

I legit can't find any information about the school... can somebody give the rundown

not unless something has changed since I got admitted 3 y/a, but might want to double check

Basic rundown is this:

P/F preclinical, though not quite true P/F anymore as there are internal rankings including preclinical. Accelerated track which includes 1.5 year preclinical and finishing clerkships in Nov of M3.

From there, you have the option to do a traditional 4th year, complete a dual degree at no extra charge on top of tuition, or go straight to residency after 3 years. The straight to residency option is only in certain specialties (but far more than just primary care) and within the Hackensack network (so NJ).

The school has a program called Human Dimension that pairs you with a chronically ill community member for the duration of med school to follow and meet with. Culminates in a capstone project.

How can you assign them? I thought AMCAS automatically sends them all

No, it doesn’t. You need to individually assign for each school on AMCAS unlike AACOMAS. By default it sends none.

Sorry, to clarify, I assigned letters to every med school through AMCAS the day I submitted 5/28 and every other school except Hackensack has received my LORs, so I don’t think it’s that

Hmm. No idea. I just discovered this trick worked for Hackensack because it’s the only one that hadn’t sent secondary and I know they don’t screen. As soon as LoRs were assigned it triggered the send.

My app is still pending pre req verification even though I haven't had any pre req issues and know that I have everything reuired, does anyone else have this issue?

My app was just verified (submitted 7/21) and they confirmed by email that my application is now under review. The LOR and pre-requisite verification took a couple weeks it seems.

Does Hackensack require preview or casper? On their site it just talks about preview but doesnt seem to explicitly state required...unless I am missing that somewhere

You do not need to include convictions that were overturned on appeal." question did you all just write: "No, I have not" or leave it blank??

Would I be cooked if I just signed up for a preview exam date in september but submitted my secondary early?

Anyone else just get an email saying they have completed the initial screening and are now being moved to holistic review?

Yeah got that two weeks ago its just an APP Completed message so all ur deliverables were recieved and verified basically.

how long after submitting did people get this email? i submitted 8/2 but still haven’t gotten anything

took me a while so I wouldn't worry for at least another few weeks

My LOR, Prerequisite Verification, and Application Review still say pending review... How long did it take for them to be checked off for everyone?
