Can anyone who attends (or just knows) tell me if OU makes third years find their own rotations or if the school has it for you?

from what I understand, they have "home bases" with a couple of hospitals in each area where students do their rotations. for example, you could get stationed in Youngstown, and have St. Elizabeth's in Youngstown, Boardman, and St. Joseph's in Warren as the hospitals where you do all of your rotations. Students rank their choices of where they want to be stationed and are assigned based on an algorithm, kind of like the residency match process. 3rd year rotations are automatically scheduled based on where you are, and the admin helps you schedule your 4th year rotations at different places.

I could be wrong, but I have talked in person with the Cleveland and Athens program directors, so I think most of what I'm saying is accurate.
