Does anyone know the decision date for early interviews? Got an email saying decisions were out on Oct 15th but then got a mail saying to check my portal on the 16th. Don't know the correct date

I would say the best advice would be that when writing their secondaries, it's important to show you personally already align with their mission and how you're eager to continue engaging in that mission at OSU specifically. Highlighting the Columbus community, the opportunities at Wexner, and especially their value of improving patient care are really important things to mention.

Can someone provide more insight into the CMT? Does it restrict any specialties or matching for residency?

my impression is they want people interested in practicing any specialty in a small community setting (my interviewer and info session didn't talk about any specialty restriction, and the website says they want to prepare people for a variety of specialties)

I did not. It happened when the left side of the page updated with information on letters of recommendation requirements.

Weird, the left side of mine hasn't ever changed from the original thank you for submitting letter either.

Does anyone know what the chances are of being accepted once you are deferred? How many people are deferred at this point in the cycle?

I have heard that a lot of movement does happen for deferred people, just not sure when. I really hate how they can drag you on for months then ultimately reject you lol. I think 1 or 2 people have gotten off after a week deferred this cycle, but been a month for me. Not sure how many are deferred either, but seems like a good junk. Feels like think they don't post-II reject, just go to deferred.

i was accepted about 3 weeks after being deferred
