No interview? only Kira??? it's an R for me for sure :(. I suck at MMI!

Got the R today but basically told to apply to their Masters in Biomed postbac/health professions linkage program. Kind of considering but not too sure with loan caps, all seems like a money grab to me😭

Hey, what’s a Kira assessment? You my primary and secondary application? If so, primary submitted mid June, secondary I completed like at least 6 weeks ago (late august or early September)

I am sorry, I thought you had post II R. Kira assessment is their interview format. It's basically a Casper evaluation and that's all they use as an interview.

Has anybody got an II from this school? Anyone at all? I mean are they hoping to send some IIs after 90 percent of schools have filled 90 percent of their seats? What is going on?

"Still"? How many "interviews" if you can call it that were even ever sent?this schools entire admissions seems to have been a total mess from the beginning with horrific to nonexistant communictaion and nobody even answering the phones. No actual interview days even if you get an interview? Few if any accepted applicants even though it is late January? Just a link to a third party MMI after a ridiculous wait assuming the portal even worked for you? If admissions is at all reflective of the quality of the medical education here, perhaps many of us will be dodging a bullet.

Got an interview invite from them earlier this month, but didn’t complete it as I got a decent scholarship at my top choice. Seemed to be entirely asynchronous.

Also, just wanted to point out that I think they are taking so long because they have a masters program with a connection to their MD school. so I think they wait for the scores/grades for those students and then consider all applications at once would be my guess. I would love to hear if anyone has reached out to them to see what they say about timeline and first wave of acceptances / if there will be more interviews.

Fully asynchronous MMI. In defense of the admissions office, I don't know too many offices that are great with communication. I got a glitch email from them an sent an email for clarification. They got back to me within a week.

This is honestly so dumb if true. They should be able to use midyear grades if they're gonna do that. Otherwise, we are gonna be waiting til April/May for a decision and at that point, amcas has already required decisions to be made if its after April 30th.

one of my friends is in the program, and she said they only accept the jan 9,10 mcat for this cycle so that means score release is on feb 10. so we should have movement soon.

Ohhh I see. That makes a lot more sense. I thought they were waiting for the semester to end to get final GPA's.

OOS A from the waitlist. I didn’t know until I got this text message about financial aid. They didn’t notify me, but the portal has an acceptance letter with a timeline showing when I was waitlisted and when I was accepted on 1/28.

Same I didn’t hear anything. My portal also shows that my application is “complete” but it was like that after the interview

Since the class size is only 50 do they put a lot of people on the WL?

It says on their 2025 class profile that they accepted 189 students last year for 67 seats

What portal are you referring to?

I interviewed a week ago and received an email from the financial aid office today. Did anyone else get this email? Is it a generic email? an error? or possibly an acceptance on the way?
