So guys dean rivera told us that 20% of the 9/23 interview day would be rejected today. He said some will be accepted but not all to give later interviewees a fair chance. NYU is shooting for a 25% II->A conversion rate. It looks like the first wave only has 2 admit NYU A's. There were 60ish people in my interview day and admit seems to represent a little under half the pool of interviewees at these top schools. So probably 5% received acceptances.

This means that before today we had a 25% chance (25/100). After todays A's and R's, we can do the math, (25-5)/(100-5-20) = 20/75, and determine that roughly 26.7% of us remaining in the continued review pool will receive an A.

So congrats everyone, we gained a 1.7% boost.
