Any success stories of students getting accepted with a sub 500 like a 499 MCAT?

How was the interview? Mine is this week so just wondering. I know it's one-on-one but did it feel conversational or tough questions back to back?

NYITCOM has great residency matches and rotations are in the city, mostly Manhattan

Notable matches for class of 2023: hopkins, einstein, grossman, umass, uconn, hofstra, stonybrook, rutgers, brown, darmouth

Hofstra seems to be most common since it’s right there

do we think this is a consequence of NYIT or students being self-led? And with a large class they naturally match well

Only 40% of student take the step exam, they said. Given that, you can’t deny they have great matches. I would say NYIT has a very good community and location and rotation options for the students. Nothing wrong with students being self-led. Some schools actually implement such curriculums, like Hofstra

No and I emailed them but they just sent me the breakdown of cost of attendance, told me to do FAFSA (which I already had) and they would be in touch

I am pretty certain they don’t give financial aid other than need based, according to their website
