I heard they really focus hard on mission fit, so if you meet all their other requirements then perhaps that was it:(

According to MSAR, they also have a 3.2 sGPA cutoff and this is not published anywhere on the actual website. Could it be that?

Yeah, I think the MSAR has a lot of somewhat hidden but extremely important information on admissions requirements, and it seems to be more accurate and detailed than some of the schools' websites. As a non-trad, it's super important to check the Admissions section in MSAR because some schools have strict rules on when you completed the prerequisite courses....very important to check before applying!

Do you think that this screen would still apply to undergrad gpa if you did an SMP that meets the 3.2 bcpm requirement?

Did you do a masters? Or was this for your undergrad gpa?

I’m not positive either way, but I think they would be looking at whatever your final BCPM GPA is at the time of applying. They also don’t round up, so it’s a hard 3.2 that the system is looking for. Best of luck!

i personally did because i did use grammarly. It seems abit scary but id rather over compensate than not you know? As long as your writing doesnt sound like AI or seems like it was written by it they should be able to tell its coming from a genuine place

Give an example of when you have shown resilience and how you would overcome adversity if encountered in medical school
200 words

In what ways do you plan to contribute to the Morehouse School of Medicine community, both during your time as a student and beyond?
200 words

Imagine you're a healthcare provider working at a community clinic with limited resources. You're responsible for distributing a small number of free glucose monitors to patients with diabetes. You have two patients who qualify: one is highly engaged, follows care instructions, and has shown consistent improvement. The other struggles with managing their condition due to low literacy, language barriers, and unstable housing, and often misses appointments. You only have one monitor left. Who do you give it to- and why? How would you navigate this situation in a way that reflects a commitment to health equity?

is it worth it to email Morehouse about this to make sure my application isn't withdrawn?

They sent apology emails to everyone about it being a mistake, so I assume that those will come around tomorrow or so
