Had my interview yesterday. The whole interview process took 3.5 hrs with a presentation of the school, virtual tour and multiple Q&A sessions. Honestly it was a bit gratuitous. The interviews themselves took 1 hr and were split up into 3 closed-file 20 min MMI style sections with a different faculty interviewer each.

For me, the first two interviewers asked really standard questions. They all ask the "tell me about yourself" in the beginning. Since the 3 interviews are closed file, you have to re-explain your life story every single time which got a bit tedious. I would have this question locked down. The third interviewer (was probably just my situation and the person interviewing me) was a lot more critical of my particular story and asked me multiple "gotcha" type questions to get me to slip up or say something negative about myself. Apparently he had gone "off script" with his questions and was adding his own which felt a bit uncomfortable in the moment.

Overall, I'd say it was a 6/10 interview experience. Fine overall but could've been better.

did anyone else who interviewed here feel like their interviewers were very specific to your interests reflected in your application? trying to figure out if they do this intentionally or if I just got lucky

It's closed file so unless you spoke about your interests during their, "tell me about yourself" question, they shouldn't have known anything about you.

Did they ask like ethical scenarios or just like regular traditional (why medicine, tell me about a time, etc)?
