Does anyone know what time usually they send out decisions?

I'm assuming they're sending decisions out today because they said 4 weeks, and seems from the past they release decisions on Friday.

Hi! Anyone who interviewed in December still waiting on a decision? I see that they've released some on Friday but also WL people already. I got an email three weeks ago saying I was still under consideration and they haven't made a final decision.

I interviewed mid-december and got that email 3 weeks ago too. I sent an update letter (conference posters/more volunteer hours) but I never even heard if they received it :/

Did you send an email? I put a LOI in my portal and then also sent an email with it attached and they responded that they received it.

Okay maybe this is copium but... I saw on sdn that some people that interviewed the same date as me (1/23) heard back if they were waitlisted or rejected last Friday, but I heard nothing. Chat, is it crazy to think that not hearing yet is a good thing?? Only interview this cycle, I am begging the universe to not make me apply again :')

Would it be better to upload an update letter before or after a decision? I interviewed with them two weeks ago and I have a couple of volunteer activities that I started a week ago that I'll be continuing for a good bit, but didn't know when it was best to mention them in a letter

I read that the optimal time to send a letter after interview is a month, so as to not seem to eager. But tbh, who knows

Before, try to send within the next two weeks.

Someone else told me that they recommend sending a letter of interest now, then if I’m waitlisted, sending them an update letter with my volunteer activities. What are your thoughts about that vs. doing a one letter that’s a mixture of both within the next 2 weeks?

Honestly, that makes sense. Or maybe other way around 🤷🏽‍♀️ or send both now, then letter of intent later

Ahh I'm not sure what the best approach is. Do you think now is still too soon to send one, or would it be fine to send something now? Does anyone else have any thoughts on this?

Send it a little later (2 weeks). Don’t want to seem desperate, but Also dont want to be late missing any committee meeting

Thank you for your response! Idk if you saw my other message but in 2 weeks, do you think I should send a letter that's a combination of a letter of interest and updates, or should I do what the other person recommended (letter of interest first, then update letter if waitlisted)?
