I think there's a few weeks left of possible II. I also submitted in July, sent some updates this year and haven't heard back. Last time I applied, I sent an update letter and then got an II.

I feel our chances are not yet clipped, but getting trimmed.

I got an II yesterday! They were scheduling interviews out for the next 3 Fridays (not sure if they are still sending IIs for those dates though). However, I did withdraw, so I hope one of y'all get that II :)

Whew I've got whiplash. I interviewed 3/13 and got waitlisted today, quick turnaround. Was really hoping for an A, this is my second WL of three II. I'm so stressed out I hate this.

🙏🏽 Hang in there, I’m in a similar boat. Sometimes it seems like the boat is sinking but the WL keeps us afloat. It’s tough but all we can do is take care of ourselves and keep moving. Best of luck!

Yes, there is decent movement considering previous years and I would expect the same this year. MCW also accepts updates.

I would assume that Milwaukee has majority of the movement. With a class size that large there’s bound to be strong movement. Correct?

Yes I read that document, it states that the WL is unranked and "holistic" and I was looking for some anecdotal commentary about what that even means

My interpretation is like this:

they have different gaps they want to fill to make a holistic class.

Say applicant X was accepted. He/she has strong strong stats/research. Say they decline their acceptance.

The school will find someone similar to applicant X to take their spot.

Vs applicant Y may be URM, have strong ties to rural medicine. If they decline, the school may look for someone similar to their profile to fill the spot.

At the end of the day, who knows. I'm planning on withdrawing my A as soon as I get fin aid assuming it wasn't extremely generous (they said hopefully before April 30).

Your interpretation makes sense to me! Idk how their fin aid is going to be given that their classes start July 6, they made no effort to move them to before July 1, and their financial aid talk during my interview was basically "Loans are icky, sowwy :((((" when asked about the BBB.
