does anyone know if they send decisions throughout the day or if it’s just a one-time morning email?

I hope that’s the case lol. I don’t want to wait another month or two, especially because they seem to hold WL and R decisions for Feb.

i’m not sure when you interviewed but I noticed over the past few decision days it tends to be people from the month before and not the same month (like nov decisions were for october interviews)

I was interviewed in the month of September and nothing from them . I am getting little overwhelmed and do not know what is coming :(

I was in the last half of November, but I have seen some people get in 2-3 months after their interview. I guess we’ll see. Good luck!

if I interviewed at the end of october and still haven't heard back, is that a waitlist?

It looks like they waitlist people in February, last year no post-II Rs were reported so I guess everyone not accepted automatically goes on it. I was rlly hoping for good news today 🥲

Not necessarily, but there’s a decent chance it’s WL. I’m just speculating here, though, so take my word with a grain of salt.

Someone on SDN said that admissions told them that one will be made after the visitation day or w/e.

I submitted mine on the 26 but haven’t heard anything. Any advice?

It might just be your county and/or state taking longer honestly, I also submitted on the 26th. For me when it cleared there was a date under each check they did, and those were the longest ones.

I meant that they do a check in each database, such as national, state, and county criminal database.

Augusta lowkey sucks at getting back to their applicants in a timely manner. There’s still a solid chance of an A, but I would assume it’s a WL at this point. On the bright side, they really struggle to retain their in-state talent as a lower prestige program, so they typically do have a good bit of WL movement. Light re-app prep would be wise, but also note you should be able to apply to UGA med school if it gets accreditation next week. Good luck!

looked it up and yes they send out that email to all current applicants. will say the final decision date is supposedly this friday so i'm wondering if this a good invite so close to the day
