Same as everyone else who is on the waitlist - you just beat the statistic to get put on it.

Generally, what are the chances of getting off the waitlist, and how many people are usually placed on the waitlist?

i got off the waitlist! i'm also on the waitlist for other schools that i've ranked higher in tmdsas, and other schools out of state. if i accept the offer from mcgovern, but get into one of the other schools, will i still be able to attend the other schools? i'm not sure where to find the information about the traffic deadlines & binding/nonbinding stuff

I'm pretty sure you can still choose to attend the other schools especially OOS ones, if I'm not mistaken. For the other Texas schools tho, you won't be able to get off the waitlist after May 15th since you have an acceptance to a Texas school.

Amazing! When were you notified? You can still choose other schools if/when you get off their waitlists. McGovern doesn’t participate in CYMS tool so you won’t need to CTE as long as you’re still waiting on waitlists, just be sure to accept McGovern’s offer.
