It is ok to not be accepted in the first "wave" right? even if people who interviewed around the same time got in?

yes, I was accepted in the second wave even though I interviewed in October.

there was just some forms to go through on their student portal thingy, i am waiting to hear back after finishing them

i interviewed in sep and heard back in jan

It really does vary. I interviewed Dec 23rd (after submitting the secondary the day it was due) and accepted Jan 15th. For some people it can take a few of months.

Sadly they start sending financial aid offers once they get your fafsa processed. It doesn't correlate with applicant status

loma linda ghosted me (no rejection, interview invite, or other update) so I just withdrew my application before they could send me a rejection letter haha. I mean its almost April 30th at this point lol. Just came here to say I feel like it is super unprofessional of a school to not even send you a rejection letter after spending so much time, money, and effort to apply to their program smh. Don't worry though fortunately I've got other options! Good luck y'all
