As a low MCAT applicant who has an interview coming up I am worried I will be part of the 20% rejected post interview. Is there anything I can do to set myself apart? I do have an otherwise pretty solid app. I also have a LOT of research hours because of my job (bonus- 4 pubs and 6 presentations) that I’m hoping will draw their attention.

If it’s meant to be it will be. All you can do is be yourself during the interview and answer the questions truthfully. Do you align with their mission and the school overall with how you answer these questions? You already got the interview.

I submitted my secondary back in July and still haven’t heard anything back, no II or even an R. I sent an update in November.

Are they still sending out II? Should I just expect an R at this point? I don’t think calling admin office will offer much guidance.

I did all that and still got rejected.

Did you interview 1/31? Seems like they sent a lot of WL or R.

Interviewed on 1/30. Seems like I’m the only one that ever got an R from them. I posted it on Reddit as well and everyone is like they have high post II acceptance or waitlist. It seems like I’m the only R sent out. Also everyone’s like contact the school so I did and no response.

Sorry I meant 1/30. But I have seen other people be rejected post interview. It happened last year on the SDN thread

Does anyone know exactly how many spots are open in each campus/in total? I got WL and just wanted to see how many seats they have to fill.

you can see how many spots they have on DO explorer. Approximately 243 for harrogate, 216 for Knoxville, and I believe I read online 100 spots for orange park. Take those numbers with a grain of salt.

WL movement is likely gonna start after May 1st.
