Has Kaiser given out pre-II rejections or are those rejections people who didn't log their interview date?

Interviewed super early in the cycle and never heard back. Truly thought I was gonna get ghosted or waitlisted but the A came through. It’s not over till it’s over.

For people who have received acceptances, was it through a phone call or email? Just curious

how long is this interview day? have a flight that night, debating whether or not i should move it

Count on around 3.5 to 4 hours. Either starting early morning PST or late morning PST if I'm remembering right. Idk when they'll tell you which session you're in tho

I asked adcoms, and they dodged my question. Also hoping for the best... wished they accepted updates.

me too but for mdphd and interviewed oct 🥲🥲🥲 no idea what it means, looks like there's been post and pre interview Rs. bracing for the R but praying so hard... i would loveeeeee to be at Kaiser 🫠🫠

Does anyone know when this school typically sends its last interview invite or when their interview invites usually stop for the cycle?

I’m not entirely sure. But it seems like my interview date was last (2/6/26). There hasn’t been any interviews since then. Plus, there was only one more date for the optional info sessions for interviewees, and it was right after my interview.

Could be totally wrong. There could be some last minute interviews later in the cycle. I would def look at last year (ik the sample size is small) to see how the cycle generally went. But that was just my perspective.

For anybody who got in, what are you doing for housing? Are you looking at a place for yourself, with room mates, near school & more expensive or further & cheaper? Which neighborhoods are you considering?

ideally i’d want to have a 1bed but i know the stipend they give us is to cover either a studio or roommates. looking for near the school right in Pasadena

I've been looking at what's available for rent near the school and see $2,400+ for a 1 bd, and 3,500+ for a 2 bd. I'll probably go the room mate route hoping we gel and they like cats :). I'm also looking at Alhambra where I see decent 1 bd for $1,800+, and it's a 12-13 minute drive.

I’m hoping so. It seems like most of the acceptances on admit so far have been reported on Thursdays and Fridays so if not today or tomorrow hopefully in the next coming weeks!

I hope so too. Also glad I'm not the only one that looked at trends like that... My friend was making fun of me for looking at stuff like that haha

i got accepted back in jan but never filled that page out and just clicked accept in their portal but now im tweaking lol

pretty sure it’s just holding your seat based on what i’ve seen from other As

So how’s everyone feeling about Kaiser’s match rate? I heard 100% students matched this year but no specifics have been released

Last year and the year before there was a final round of pre-WL As the week of 3/22 according to SDN. So I am hopeful some of us will get good news this week. After this week, I would say yes.

Trad MD, but I also have a friend who was admitted to both PRIME & Kaiser. They said their PAL didn’t include the scholarship yet ($20k) so they’re gonna wait till after second look to decide where they’re choosing!
