when assigning prerequisities are the asking for some classes twice? like i see biology and physicis etc listed twice to assign

You need two semesters of physics and biology, so put semester 1 in one box and semester 2 in the other

hi! where do we submit the payment for the secondary? I just turned it in but there was nowhere to pay + the email didn't have a link to anywhere where I needed to submit the payment

yeah, that's the same for me. mcat scores, casper, etc. have been received by all my other schools. if I don't get one by end of day monday, I think im going to email them

damn i paid this morning but dont see any confirmation email, how long after did they send it?

like a minute after, i think they only send confirmation of payment bc it says in the email with the link to pay, "Once payment is received, you will receive a confirmation email, and members of the Admissions Committee will begin the evaluation process." - i think that just means confirmation of payment

Is the confirmation email just the one confirming payment? Like there's no other overall "your application is complete/under review" email right? Cuz I only got an email confirming that the payment went through

Is anyone taking the AAMC Preview exam because Jacobs recommends it? Or is it okay to apply without a Preview score?

Anyone else on FAP - was the only indication an email the day after? As I never got an email asking for payment - not even one saying it was waived.

Well, maybe I’ll get a payment email soon, but right now I have not lol.

Not personally on FAP but the email took a while to come through. i submitted on the weekend and it came through monday morning

Also on FAP, and I didn’t get an email about payment, so hopefully that eases some of your concern. As long as you got the email saying your application is complete and ready for evaluation, you’re fine.

does 1 semester of gen chem and 1 semester of biochem count towards their course pre reqs or am I screwed?

I don’t think biochemistry can replace gen chem 2 but I don’t think it hurts to double check with the admissions team.

My school only has 1 semester of intro biology lab, should I assign the class for both intro bio? Or should add a upper level biology lab for the second box

Same with orgo, my school only has 1 semester, but I could potentially add biochemistry lab as the second part?

Also is anyone class year messed up? It says I took classes in Spring of 2022 but I was in HS then. They shifted all my spring classes back a year :(

This will be where consulting upperclassmen from your institution and your school’s career planning/prehealth office would be most helpful. For bio, you’re fine with the upper level bio class as the second sem. But for orgo, many schools require 2 sems, so I’m gonna paste in what Jacobs officially says from the link I posted above:

*If your School does not offer or combines any of the prerequisites outlined above, please ask either your Pre-Health Advisor to address the course in question in their Committee letter or the Department Chair/Science Professor writing a recommendation on your behalf.
