Yep, know your app well. I had basically spoke about everything on my application and just expanded on it. A few follow up questions that were relevant to the activity etc. Laid back interview and loved the staff. Definitely know why medicine and why UB.

Ty for the response, I just dont get what they would really ask about each activity is it a more general, "can you go into more detail about xyz?" I get a bit nervy since I have a lot of activities from years ago I can reflect on but not to a crazy deep level I would say but working on it

Essentially that's what they did. Sometimes it was asking you to connect it to how it make you a better physician and things like that. Sometimes it would be asking to give a story about a time when you did something during an activity. A good example would be like how your volunteering will help you better serve communities as a physician in the future or something along those lines. Give an anecdote, connect it to how you want to grow in medical school and how it can help you as a physician.

Do a lot of research on the school. They asked me a few questions on why Buffalo. While I had a lot to share (family history, current city similarities, volunteer opportunities) they asked for more. Take copious notes on the school, is what I've heard from multiple-A applicants.

Yes, they will ask how your previous experiences will relate to a career medicine. Think about values you've gained or insights you've developed from even just one moment during your activities. Concrete examples are best. I told them that my acting experience has taught me how to put on a friendly face no matter the situation I'm in. It helps me balance and present myself when hit with a challenge in medicine or research.

The experience was decently laid back, took 2 hours to do between both interviewers. Don't forget to ask them questions at the end.

How many people get off the waitlist? Applied ED but was waitlisted after my interview. Should I send a letter of intent?

Considering you applied ED I think they know you intend to go there😅. I guess it doesn’t hurt to send a LOI with any updates you’ve had since applying as long as they are meaningful. From my understanding tho Jacobs historically has a decent amount of waitlist movement!

I believe the last peak is in March, but if you haven’t been rejected yet, then there’s always a chance :) as this school does send out interviews until quite late in the cycle. Praying for your success!

To check this did you get an email or you just checked the financial aid section on the HUB

I got an email that my aid package was available in the HUB, and then saw it under the FinAid/Scholarships section of the HUB. It looked like a standard email from the university without anything specific from the medical school.
